Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Serenity, Firefly, and now Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog — everything that Joss Whedon touches turns to gold.
Here’s my take on a scene from Act II of Dr. Horrible:
Go watch all three episodes for yourself on DrHorrible.com (before the end of the day today, though — they’ll be gone after midnight, July 20).
UPDATE: For those of you who missed the free viewing, you can download all three episodes of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog from the Music Store:
LEGO creations inspired by Joss Whedon previously featured on The Brothers Brick:
The Hammer is…well…you’ll find out.
I need moar.
I cried.
Bad Horse says, “Neigh!!”
The Thoroughbred of Sin?
What a crazy random happenstance!
This is fantastic – very very cool
He reminds me o Clinton.
We mustn’t forget about Whedon’s work on Toy Story either! This is a wonderful rendition of such an awesome story.
I can’t wait for it to hit YouTube and sites like that. Such a good story.
Umm, forget youtube, buy it on iTunes, it’s only $4 – anyone who can’t justify spending that much on something they think is “such a good story” should re-evaluate their life
I’ll let that one slide Tal, but I genuinely hope you reexamine your social skills before you get much farther in life.
Like I have four bucks to spend on things that aren’t essential to life….
If you can afford internet access that allows you to download stuff illegally, you can afford $4
The point in arguing with someone you’ve never met over something that hardly matters on a blog that’s generally regarded as one of the best in the community is practically nonexistent. Therefor, I concede you’re the winner.
I should just take the chance to point out that your Captain Hammer likeness is disturbing. Well done.
A winrar is Tal.
Internet drama!
@Dez & Jacob: C’mon guys, don’t be so hard on Tal. Tal is simply suggesting that there are perfectly legal (and ethical) ways of viewing these videos. In fact, I’ll probably be adding a link to the iTunes download later. You guys are the ones who help make TBB “one of the best in the community” (thanks!), but in this case I’m gonna side with the new guy. Not trying to be harsh or anything, but as a writer, I take things like piracy seriously.
@Tal: I completely agree with your point, but like Dez said, attacking one of our long-time readers with your second comment isn’t the best way to win friends and influence people. ;-)
And to top it all off, Josh Whedon is one of the last people I’d care to steal from. I was really just miffed that a complete stranger assumes he knows enough about me to judge.
That said, my apologies for the disturbance.
^ No worries, dude.
Oh, BTW. Joss Whedon ≠ Josh Wedin. :-P I hung out with Josh Wedin and confused people at my first BrickCon by wearing my Joss Whedon is my master now shirt (which I’m also wearing right now; it’s awesome). :-D
We have never been seen together, so we might actually be the same person. Just sayin’, its possible… :D
It’s true.
I’ve never seen either of them, much less together.
