Mark Neumann (SnowLeopard) displayed his first large-scale mecha in quite some time at BrickFest 2009 last month, and boy is it a doozy.

I had the good fortune of seeing this in person and talking with Mark about it. It was so ridiculously cool looking there. The 3 way battle it was set up in between another insectoid mech and a legion of original Blacktron vehicles was so fun.
