Occasionally, I take a break from blogging and actually build something. For my most ambitious creation to date, I present “Fox Red: Omaha Beach”.

Yes, that’s dark blue water. (I do believe I’ve mentioned before that I like LEGO Agents…)

Naturally, I couldn’t resist the urge to turn a few photos into black and white Robert Capa-esque shots.

    I checked this out at BrickCon, and it looks pretty great I do think that some blood in the water for a Saving Private Ryan feel might have been cool, though.

    ^ Agreed. I have to admit that I kept it pretty “clean” for BrickCon (this coming from the Zombie-in-Chief), and just haven’t had time to apply more realism since then. Plus, I was having way too much fun with the dark blue water. ;-)
