I’m not sure how long it’s been there, but this mosaic at Lego’s headquarters in Billund is made out of minifigs, yes, minifigs. You can see it in the background of a humorous video of the company, made to solace those who have suffered injuries from stepping on Lego bricks. Photo by Michale Sevy.
I’d rather just step on the bricks than buy those specialized “shoes” that cost $10 a pair. :p

It takes a minute and a half to tell a 10-second joke that falls flat anyway.
I thought that thing on the wall was a LEGO version of sand art, made with 1×1 bricks or plates or something like that.
Come on guys, its not often you see a major company with a sense of humor,(even if it is a little lame) give ’em a break.
