In our first non-SDCC news item this week (I think), the Series 11 LEGO Collectible Minifigures are apparently on sale now in Poland, and Herman Napierala has shared a nice scan of the character sheet with Brickset.
We won’t know what the official names of the minifigs are until closer to the official street date, but here’s what I’m seeing in this series:
- Barbarian Warrior
- Scarecrow
- Alpen Girl
- Blacktron Robot
- Island Warrior
- Gingerbread Man
- Christmas Elf
- Yeti / Abominable Snowman
- Rock Climber
- Welder
- Scientist
- Blues Brother*
- Car Hop
- Grandma
- British Bobby
- Lady Robot
*C’mon! Is he anything else?!
Thats totally my Mom and her cat there as the Grandma. Any British fans see Noddy there?
Wow, this kicks Series 10’s sorry butt to the curb. I’d call every one but the Barbarian and the Rock Climber a standout.
I agree Octopunk! I always loved Blacktron and plan on getting as many of those as I possibly can. Looks like a new mold for the cat and other parts too. The Barbarian I could also see getting multiples of. I normally buy a whole case but skipped on series 10.. I may just get one this time around.
Haha I knew it was a blues brother ;)
I’m actually a fan of the rock climber. Those coiled ropes are going to be a nice item to have.
These look amazing. I’m going to need to buy at least ten of the British coppers to replace pretty much every Lego City police officer I have. Just a shame they’ve gone for a Victorian copper instead of a contemporary officer with a high-viz jacket etc. But the helmet is all I really need.
And that Yeti is beautiful. Wonder if he’ll have a minifig head under that.
I actively despise most of these figures. They’re just too freakishly odd to fit in any but the most obscure of MoCs. The only thing that’s appealing to me in this release are a handful of accessories. It’s completely possible this will be the first series I won’t buy.
