2015 LEGO Advent Calendars: Star Wars, City, Friends [News]

For 2015, LEGO is rolling out 3 themed Advent calendars: Star Wars, City, and Friends. As with previous years’ Star Wars Advent Calendars, an exclusive holiday-themed Star Wars minifig is included. This time it’s C3-P0 dressed as Santa Claus, riding a sleigh pulled by an R2-D2 with reindeer antlers. The City calendar has a mini Santa train and loads of toys, while the Friends calendar includes parts for a small hockey match and a lot of accessories – both pretty par for the course.

People might get upset if they see the pictures of the full contents of the calendars. I recall that people had that issue on fbtb last year for the daily calendar reveal, because they would look in there before opening the calendar and then the reveal would spoil it for them, and fbtb had to end up putting the reveal picture after the break. So people might also get upset that this post reveals all of the calendar’s contents.

Mr. Cab; that’s a fair point that I hadn’t considered. I’ll re-order the post to put the reveal images after the jump. Thanks – wouldn’t want to spoil someone’s fun!

I think I need to buy a $30 set just for a ~20 piece micro space shuttle and booster stack.

Also, interesting that the Star Wars set does not appear to contain anything related to Force Awakens.

I’m surprised there are only 2 mini-dolls and less pieces in the Friends set. Are minidolls really that much more to produce?
